Devon HarrisFull Circle Refuge, Inc Devon Harris Executive Director and Founder of Full Circle Refuge Ministries Devon Harris is the Executive Director of Full Circle Refuge Ministries (FCR); a nonprofit focused on restoring incarcerated juveniles to family, community and life rooted in Christ. Since 1994, Devon and his wife, Sun, have been involved in juvenile justice ministry in the greater Augusta through Full Circle Refuge. Devon retired from the U.S. Army in 1999 after 20 years of service, where he was hired by Department of Juvenile Justice as Assistant Volunteer Service Coordinator at Augusta Youth Development Campus in Augusta, GA. He completed a 2-year position at the Campus and resigned to pursue a full-time position as the Director of Full Circle Refuge. Devon seeks to expand the mission and vision of FCR through training volunteers to lead Bible discussion groups and become certified mentors as well as organizing urban church networks for teens return home. Devon Harris received a Certificate of Ordination as Minister in the area of “at-risk youth ministries”; a Certified “Volunteer In-Prison Ministry” Trainer for Prison Fellowship Ministries; Graduated from the School of Juvenile Justice Ministries – Straight Ahead Ministries; Member of the Ministry Delivery Team for Prison Fellowship Georgia; Completed the Street Gang/Juvenile Crime Course- presented by 21st Century Law Enforcement Consultants Inc. Received a “Street Gang: Identification and Investigation” Certification from The Institute of Police Technology and Management – University of North Florida and a “Gang Intervention Specialist” Certification from The National Gang Crime Research Center. He is an active member of Family Bible Church and the Georgia Gang Investigators Association.
