Craig Applegath

Craig is a Principal in DIALOG's Toronto studio and a member of the company’s National Leadership Team. Since graduating from Harvard with a Master of Architecture in Urban Design he has built a considerable track record leading complex planning and design projects. Craig is a hands-on designer intensely focused on client needs, but is best known for his advocacy of green building design, and resilient urban planning. In addition to his project and design responsibilities, Craig lectures on sustainable design and urban resilience in Canada and United States. This has included guest speaking roles at major conferences in Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco. Craig was a founding Board Member of Sustainable Buildings Canada, and is a past President of the Ontario Association of Architects. As time permits, he is also a guest lecturer at the U of T, Waterloo and Harvard. In 2001, Craig was made a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada for his services to the profession.
