Zachary Loavenbruck

From an early age, Zach Loavenbruck enjoyed staying active and spending time outdoors. A natural and good-natured competitor, Zach Loavenbruck relishes the opportunity to challenge himself and test his skills against others. Zach Loavenbruck regularly goes hiking, camping, and backpacking in New England and finds his time spent in nature incredibly rewarding. Zach Loavenbruck also takes pleasure in mountain biking, rock climbing, and kayaking. He also regularly plays golf and tennis and has an affinity for disc golf, as well. Zach Loavenbruck is a man committed to teaching others the value of physical activity and sportsmanship. He has coached high school softball teams for a number of years, heading both the Freshman and Varsity squads. Zach Loavenbruck stresses teamwork and perseverance in his coaching, as well as the fundamentals of the game. A lifelong baseball fan, Zach Loavenbruck is an active member of the Boston Men’s Baseball League. Mr. Zach Loavenbruck participates in the Men’s Over 30 division and last season posted an impressive .400 batting average. He also led the league in stolen bases. A caring individual, Zach Loavenbruck recently participated in the Ben’s Dream Charity Baseball Tournament and also made a personal donation to the event. The Boston event was organized in order to help fight Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare and deadly genetic disease. While still a student pursuing his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Rochester University, Zach Loavenbruck participated in intramural softball and basketball. Zach Loavenbruck believes in the mental and physical benefits of sport and competition and looks to push himself and others to constantly improve. Taking time to reflect in nature also helps his creative impulses, which he leverages toward his career in education and writing. Born and raised in New York, Zach Loavenbruck lives near Boston, Massachusetts.
