CEO Worldwide Media Direct, Inc.® (Marketing and Advertising industry) October 2001 — Present (7 years 11 months) Worldwide Media Direct, Inc.® is a CMR-Certified Marketing Representative. CMR's are agencies licensed, tested and certified by the Yellow Pages Association as experts in LOCAL SEARCH advertising. The YPA is instrumental in leading, serving, growing and advocating on behalf of a print and electronic media industry (LOCAL SEARCH) valued at more than $26 billion worldwide ($14 billion U.S.). WMDI focuses on the right balance of print and paid on-line advertising for each client. As a ONE SOURCE ad agency we offer over 25 years of bullet-proof, multi-media solutions that are measurable, because we believe it’s all about the ROI. We offer the efficiency of ONE single-point of contact, ONE invoice for all print and internet Yellow Page directories worldwide. SEM-Search Engine Marketing options include performance based PPC (pay-per-click) solutions that drive passive internet traffic from organic ads on the search engines-the ones right below the maps that local buyers look at FIRST! The organic ads drive a relevant stream of buyers to your web site or landing page. SEM can also be proactive. We place Sponsored Link ads on Google, Yahoo! & Bing directly. These PPC ads appear based on KEY WORDS above the maps and continue down the right-hand side of each page. When an ad is clicked on it draws against a pre-set monthly CAP. This approach produces an immediate stream of leads. WMDI manages each client SEM campaign directly, cutting-out layers of middlemen and non-transparent fees typically added by other agencies. Every dollar invested in SEM with WMDI thereby receives an unsurpassed ROI. We also offer cost effective SEO-Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the process of improving a website so it appears in search results for a term or phrase you want. Optimizing web sites for search engines involves dozens of variables. We design custom packages for you that employ some or all of these facets, according to your budget and priorities. Vice President of Business Development ADnational Corp. (Marketing and Advertising industry) January 2000 — October 2001 (1 year 10 months) In a little over a year our independant approach of offering objective advertising solutions to national, international and regional clients proved to be even more successful than originally forecasted as we quickly grew our relationships with fortune 500 companies. We seamlessly separated from ADnational and soon became totally independent. Senior Account Manager Yellow Book USA a div. of Yell Group PLC (Public Company; YELL; Marketing and Advertising industry) October 1997 — January 2000 (2 years 4 months) Yellow Book Chairman's Club 1997 THE ONE BOOK®'s directory usage share, along with it's double-digit sales growth was a major contributing factor in the 1997 acquisition of R.H. Donnelley’s Proprietary East Division by Yellow Book USA. In 1999, Yellow Book USA was acquired by BT- British Telecom in order to gain a large U.S. directory footprint for future growth. In 2000, BT would go through a restructuring, and spin-off their directory publishing division to a management led team to form Yell Group PLC. Yell's Yellow Book USA (YBC) has grown to become the 4th largest YP publisher in the US. Prior to 2000 we began to notice a subtle shift in operational flexibility. First, the trickle-down demands from a larger parent company began with increased pressure on local sales and sales management. The goal had always been to offer our key clients objective proposals that always included the right ad, the right size, at the right heading(s), in the right directories. And, secondly, we sensed a shift occurring in the paradigm. We required a viable local on-line search solutions to offer clients, in addition to print. We felt then, as we do now, the more effective approach was to be the ONE source to offer multi-media, multi-brand, battle-tested solutions, without the middlemen in order to enable clients to compete more effectively. Senior Account Manager R.H.Donnelley (dba DEX media) (Public Company; Marketing and Advertising industry) September 1986 — September 1997 (11 years 1 month) 1987 DSPC - RHD Distinguished Sales Performance Club 1988 DSA - RHD Distinguished Sales Award 1988 - After 50 years RHD elects not to renew their $580m sales agency agreement with the Bell Telephone Company (now Verizon) in Pennsyvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
