Ryan TredinnickRyan Tredinnick is a 30 year veteran of broadcast and cable. Currently the Vice President of Broadcast Operations for cable programmer GSN, he is responsible for all technical and operational functions of the network’s origination facilities in Culver City, California, which includes engineering, on-air operations, library services and traffic. During his tenure he has converted the operation from tape based to file based technologies employing digital work flows designed to streamline operating functions; eliminate redundancy; and create rich data mines for over 60,000 video assets. He has held various positions within GSN, including Director of Programming Services in charge of all production involved with multiple live daily interactive games, and Vice President of Programming. Ryan worked for many years in the broadcast industry, with increasing responsibilities, including master control, audio, newscast director, commercial producer/writer, videographer, editor and production management. Prior to joining GSN, he was the Executive Producer of Programming for WRTV-6, Indianapolis, Indiana. During his time at WRTV, he led all station efforts in the month long live and taped coverage of the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400. He also wrote and produced documentaries which garnered numerous Emmy nominations and awards. He has been involved with thousands of hours of live programming in capacities ranging from camera operator, director, to producer. |
