Sarah AndersonHSSE Manager Governance, Assurance and Performance Reporting, Shell I have been working in the HSSE Field since I changed my forestry major to Industrial Hygiene in 1985 directly after the Bhopal Incident with Union Carbide. I was an intern with ALCOA in 1986 at their Lafayette, Indiana location while I was working on my undergraduate degree in Public Health at Purdue University. Since that initial internship, I continued on with my Industrial Hygiene studies to receive my Master's of Science Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1990. I interned with Amoco from 1988 through 1990 and hired in full time after graduating from UNC. I worked for Amoco, Amoco-BP, BP from 1988 through 2006 and progressed through several HSSE related assignments at various locations which also included overseas involvement. I thave since ventured on to Shell in 2006 where I am currently working today in the Houston area as an HSSE Manager for the Lubricants business. |
