Lanida Hackett-KuzmichRegistered Nurse, HealthONE/The Medical Center of Aurora After working for Seven-O Corporation in Texarkana for 17 years, I decided to have a midlife crisis and return to school. So at the age of 38, I enrolled in the William Buchanan School of Nursing at Texarkana Comminity College. Graduated in '91 as an RN and moved to Denver to start a new career, renew a dying marriage, and.....well, the marriage fell apart anyway, but I'm still in nursing. Completed a Bachelors' Degree in Nursing and then went on to finish my Master's of Science in Nursing. I continue to work at the hospital on the Oncology Unit and I teach at Regis University in the skills lab and in clinicals. I have a new grand daughter (4/17) and she is keeping me busy too. Not much of a professional summary. I work and love life. |
