Mary is now a SW Florida resident and very proud to be a member of the RE/MAX Realty Group in Fort Myers, Florida. The Davenport Team are now the Exclusive On-Site Agents for RiverBend Motorcoach Resort, a Class A Resort just minutes from Fort Myers, and will be utilizing all their skills to excel in the SW Florida real estate market. Arriving on the Outer Banks in 1991, Mary found that once you get the sand 'tween your toes, you just can't go home" and was an integral part of the community until moving to Florid. Becoming an OBX resident lead Mary to employment and expertise in the vacation rental industry where she specialized in maximizing income while minimizing expenses for the vacation rental home property owner as well as setting nationwide and Outer Banks industry standard for recruiting the most new owners into a vacation rental management program two years in a row. Mary became a Broker/Associate with RE/MAX Ocean Realty in 2002 joining The Sun & Sea Team, which received recognition by RE/MAX Carolinas as one of the Top 10 Teams in sales volume for the 2004 for all of North and South Carolina. In 2005, Mary branched out on her own + begin The Mary Davenport Team and was proud to have achieved her ABR, CLHMS, CRS, GRI and SRES designations. An active participant in OBAR she served on many committees and was recipient of 2001 + 2002 Chairman of the Year awards as well as the coveted REALTOR® of the Year Award in 2004. Mary is dedicated to working with the March of Dimes, Relay for Life and Childrens Miracle Network and she found no greater pleasure than assisting her clients with purchasing that just right OBX property or making sure the sale of their property is as effortless as possible. A Colonial Heights, VA native, Mary graduated with a BS in Art, History and Social Science from Concord University in Athens, WV, was on the Deans List and became a teacher in Keystone, WV. She subsequently pursued careers in residential and commercial property as well as construction management in the Richmond, VA area. Continuing to strive to achieve excellent and always setting the bar in performance, Mary is one of the top Florida RE/MAX agents and has adding the RSPS designation to her accomplishments.
