Silicon Valley entrepreneur Srinivas Anumolu founded Elance, Inc. in 1999 and saw the online services marketplace company become the most successful of its kind. Srinivas Anumolu was crucially involved in Elance’s growth and development for over 3 years, from its first moments through the raising of $65 million in venture capital to the hiring of its 200th employee. Previously, Srinivas Anumolu served as a Vice President at leading insurance corporation New York Life. Srinivas Anumolu also spent four years in Berkeley, California, as a Product Manager at Barra, Inc., where he focused on developing complex models for the financial software firm using regression, Monte Carlo simulation, and other methods. In all his roles, Srinivas Anumolu has drawn on the outstanding technical and professional education he received at IIM Calcutta and IIT Madras as well as the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received his MBA. Srinivas Anumolu now makes his home in San Ramon, California, where he enjoys playing tennis, listening to music, and other activities. An avid reader, Srinivas Anumolu cites Salman Rushdie, John Updike, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez among his favorite authors. Srinivas Anumolu is a charitably minded individual who supports the Sierra Club, Amnesty International, and Greenpeace.
