Raymond RampolokengCommunity development(volunteer), Ubuntu Eco Projects Former employee of Bird Life South Africa and an active birder for over five years, Raymond Rampolokeng knows birds of South Africa intimately. He has led numerous tours, founder of Bird Life Soweto, Raymond has led outings of clubs and walkabouts due to his ability to show people good birds, and help birders get a good view. When not birding, Raymond is involved in eco-tourism consulting and avi-tourism promotion. Raymond's desire to share his knowledge of birds and other aspects of nature led him to take part in informal guiding activities from a young age, as well as making contributions to several popular birding and nature publications. He holds certificates from BLSA and STTI. Raymond is currently enrolled for a Provincial Tourist Guiding course at the Witwatersrand University with STTI. He is a freelance guide, specialising in small to big groups, partner friendly tours can also be arranged. He is also happy to offer advice to birders and eco-clubs alike. Raymond will be giving tours in Gauteng,South Africa. He will offer tours not only about birds, but are tailor-made tours of Matlosana. He will show people the entertainments spots, the heritage sites, as well as delve into the nightlife of Gauteng. He also intends to aim at schools, where he would, both in- and outsite the classroom, teach the children about heritage, nature, and birds.
