Founder and owner of GCE Petroleum Consulting, LLC, Grover C. Ellisor III has enjoyed a distinguished and varied career in the oil industry, which has given him insight and knowledge about every aspect of the business. Educated at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, Grover Ellisor obtained a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from the Dwight Look College of Engineering. Having received numerous offers of employment upon graduation, Grover Ellisor launched his career in the oil industry as Sales Engineer at Brown Oil Tools, Inc., in Houston, Texas. Receiving the company’s “Outstanding Service” award in 1982, Grover Ellisor generated $2,600,000 in sales revenue in one year for this leading company. With Brown Oil Tool, Inc., Grover Ellisor designed liner and packer completions for domestic wells from 5,000 feet to 25,000 feet, suitable for hostile environments with temperatures over 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Following his success at Brown Oil, Grover C. Ellisor III went on to become Operations Manager for Outline Oil Corporation in Victoria, Texas. Grover Ellisor took on a myriad of duties at this company, including the supervision of all drilling, completion, and workover operations. In additional high-level technical and managerial roles, Mr. Ellisor prepared and engineered all drilling, completion, workover, AFEs, and procedures. Overseeing as well as assisting with the production personnel conducting daily operations and surface installations, Grover Ellisor also processed the necessary RRC forms for drilling and production operations. The valuable experience gained in his years of service to Outline Oil Corporation prepared Grover C. Ellisor III to succeed in envisioning and leading his own petroleum consulting business, GCE Petroleum Consulting, LLC. Having built the company from the ground up, Mr. Ellisor’s intricate knowledge of the oil business makes him a valuable resource to his clients. Specializing in cost management, Mr. Ellisor’s corporation provides consultation on field supervision and drill design, workover, completion, and hook-up operations on oil and gas wells, procedural processes, AFEs, and equipment recommendations. Operating successfully since 1986 with high ethical standards and a satisfied and expanding customer base, Grover C. Ellisor III remains committed to his own continued education. Completing extensive additional training in the industry, Grover Ellisor is also MMS Certified as a Well Control Supervisor. A member of several professional organizations, including the American Petroleum Institute and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Mr. Ellisor enjoys fishing, golfing, playing tennis, and participating in other outdoor activities in his free time.
