Richard Greco

President, Filangieri Advisory Corp.

Richard Greco, Jr. has displayed a love for his country in many ways. The first was his founding of The Montfort Academy in Katonah, New York. Believing that the quality of the American classroom had declined significantly, Richard Greco, Jr. started The Montfort Academy as The Renaissance Man lecture series. Structured as an introductory stage to The Montfort Academy, this once-a-week session for fifth through ninth grade boys met on Saturday mornings. In 2002, The Montfort Academy opened as a full-time Roman Catholic high school. For Richard Greco, Jr., the ideal curriculum harkened back to a classical approach that is not often seen in American schools today. Instilling in the young men of The Montfort Academy an appreciation for philosophy, astronomy, mathematics, literature, history, and devotion to God and country, Richard Greco, Jr. has turned his vision into reality. In the ten short years since The Montfort Academy’s opening, Richard Greco, Jr. has overseen the increased implementation of athletics, academics, and faculty, as well as the addition of a girls’ counterpart school. An alumnus of several renowned American institutions, Richard Greco, Jr. graduated summa cum laude, in cursu honorum with a B.S. in Chemistry from Fordham University in New York City. Following his undergraduate studies, Richard Greco, Jr. enrolled at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, where he received his M.A. Next, Richard Greco, Jr. earned his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Richard Greco, Jr. has served his country at a federal level, holding the titles of White House Fellow, Special Assistant in the immediate office of the Secretary of Defense, and The Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Richard Greco, Jr. is currently president of Filangieri Capital Partners. His American ideals endure with the thriving growth of The Montfort Academy.
