I have been involved in the real estate land development industry for over 20 years. My company Southcreek Holdings (www.southcreekholdings.com) founded in 1996 has remained intact with varying levels of success through each and every one of the past and recent highs and lows of the real estate busts and bubbles. I attribute this to hard work, great colleagues and the networking it takes to work with only the best in the business. Plus we know all of us must stay focused on the big picture - sales and margins. Our current venture - TenderCare Beds (www.tendercarebeds.com) is also enjoying success and has allowed my husband and I to stretch our business and entreprenurial skiils into an industry we had never been involved in. We see great futures for both companies and feel truly blessed to have the ability to work for ourselves even in the worst of times.
