Insurance professional Derek Galli specializes in a number of policies, ranging from automobile to commercial coverage. Additionally, Derek Galli also demonstrates an adept understanding of property, casualty, and life insurance, along with annuities. Licensed in 1992, he led a number of financial education workshops and seminars for the public, and gained candidacy for the trade association Million Dollar Round Table. Recognized by the round table, Derek Galli demonstrated productivity, extensive technical knowledge, and morality by upholding a high standard of ethics in insurance sales and financial consulting. Prior to his career in finance and insurance, Derek Galli taught tennis professionally and remains certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association as a Professional 1 instructor. Awarded with one of the highest ratings the USPTA offers, Derek Galli possesses vast experience as a knowledgeable player and coach, in technique and game rules, as well as teaching, administration, and more. During his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University-Hawaii, Derek Galli utilized his skill in tennis to earn an athletic scholarship from 1984 to 1986, where he helped the team place 15th in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Derek Galli began teaching in 1988 with a Kailua-Kona based tennis program at Keauhou Beach Resort. Later that same year, he joined the Schofield Barracks Tennis Center on Oahu. In 1991, he returned to BYU-Hawaii as the coach for the women’s tennis team.
