Jules VandykeFrom 1989 until 2010, Jules Vandyke served as CEO of InnerSkill. For more than 30 years, InnerSkill had delivered support services in employment, training, and disability employment in Sydney. Communicare, seeking a presence in New South Wales, merged with InnerSkill in 2010. For her demonstrated acumen in the oversight of not-for-profit operations, Communicare selected Jules Vandyke to become Communicare’s State Manager of New South Wales. At InnerSkill, Jules Vandyke supervised a team of dedicated public service professionals and volunteers providing employment services, partnering with other not-for-profits and the Australian government. Employing qualified and experienced case managers in a welcoming environment to individuals throughout New South Wales, Jules Vandyke and InnerSkill provided training, guidance, and placement services for those seeking employment. During her tenure as head of InnerSkill, Jules Vandyke ensured that the organisation associated itself with only the most qualified professionals and participated in the government’s “Let’s Get to Work” strategy launch. Jules Vandyke supervised substantial adaptations in employment services procedures in response to perceived inadequacies involved in addressing the needs of individuals with mental health issues. These adaptations, including collaboration with mental health professionals, thorough assessments of skills and adaptability, and structured, ongoing communication with clients, resulted in demonstrated success. These services provide a significant addition for Communicare in the eastern states. Jules Vandyke plans to expand Communicare’s operations in eastern Australia to include children’s services, including day care and after-school care, and innovative programmes to address domestic violence. Jules Vandyke has extensive credentials from various academic and professional institutions. Some of her leadership-related credentials were earned from the Australian Association Institute of Company Directors, where Jules Vandyke earned an Advanced Diploma in Mastering the Board Room and a Company Directors Course Diploma. Since 2004, Jules Vandyke has also served as an elected member to the Board of Directors of the National Employment Services Association (NESA). |
