Don WilsonDon David Wilson is a recognized authority on matters relating to business, marketing, and franchising. Mr. Wilson contributed to the development of the franchising industry, having assisted in the submission of documentation that initiated franchise laws in the State of California in 1971. California’s legislation was the first of its kind in the United States. Don David Wilson has shared his business strategies and principles in publications such as Newsweek, Forbes, and Nation’s Business. Moreover, Mr. Wilson’s company, FranCap Corporation, also known as the Franchise Capital Resources Fund, appeared in a five-part documentary on franchising shot by NBC. FranCap, which Don David Wilson founded in 1964, is a unique company that focuses on cultivating, advertising, and managing franchises. FranCap’s client list consists of more than 200 well-known companies, including American Boat Rental Services, King Energy Systems, Uniglobe Travel, and TelTech Global Wireless. After graduating from Miami Beach High School, Mr. Wilson continued his education at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and Boston’s Northeastern University. In addition to FranCap, Don David Wilson launched several other successful companies, including the Business and Management Corporation or BD&M, a holding company, and Cartel Funding, LLC, an equity and acquisitions venture capital fund. Prior to the aforementioned organizations, Don David Wilson founded the National Fran-Mark Corporation, the country’s first company dedicated to the full spectrum of franchise servicing. He has also worked in the financial services industry, selling securities. Don David Wilson’s other enterprises include the launch of Netword, Inc. and Rabbit Marketing Services, LLC. Mr. Wilson coordinated the purchase of Netword from a public company and restructured it to create an Internet technology designed to optimize local and national search results. Don David Wilson created Rabbit Marketing exclusively to sell advertising for Netword at both the local and national levels, thus supporting Netword’s continued success in the marketplace. Aside from his business endeavors, Don David Wilson enjoys the outdoors and his hobbies include skiing, tennis, and motorcycle touring. He also teaches bridge.
