Son of a minister, born and raised on the east coast, I find myself wandering the public transit system of Los Angeles County these days as a high school English teacher and Union representative. I live in Hollywood proper - can see the famous sign from my apartment window. I'm a fan of live theater, short stories with an Ah-Ha ending, history, Left-brain Western Theological tradition, and older church music. I'm an Episcopalian and a registered Democrat (although our current president has disappointed me with his Educational policy). I enjoy disco era music, and consider myself an enormous fan of the documentary as a communication vehicle as well as an art form.
