The predominance of my work experience has been in the federal sector as a functional specialist, who is highly trained in the acquisition arena. As a civil servant for the US Government, I have accumulated special talents and skills that require me to be retrained and certified biannually in order to stay abreast of the newest technology presently being introduced by those armor vehicle manufacturers, who are selling a means of transportation to the various services (Army, Marine Corp, Air Force, and Navy). My level of engagement depends on the lifecycle phase and end-user requirements. This entails being well-versed in the federal acquisition laws and regulations, the contract negotiation process, and the administration of the contract, once it has been awarded to a qualified supplier.
