Dr. James Lauren HargroveDentist, Nanston Dental Group and Great Expressions Dentist James Lauren Hargrove began his training studying biology and chemistry at Kennesaw State College, and then earned his D.M.D. at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta. However, Dr. James Lauren Hargrove did not let his formal education stop there. To this day, Dr. James Lauren Hargrove continues to partake in extra courses designed to keep him up to date with latest trends and most modern technology. Attending courses that take him all over the country, Dr. James Lauren Hargrove has expanded his dental expertise in Nevada, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and even the Bahamas. Dr. James Lauren Hargrove learned about safely administer sedation techniques while studying with Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). A distributor of supplies, equipment, and technology, Patterson Dental trained Dr. James Lauren Hargrove in the use of Chairside Economical Restoration of Aesthetic Ceramics (CERAC). He also received instruction from Nobel Biocare Services AG, a provider of restorative and esthetic dental solutions. Through these courses, Dr. James Lauren Hargrove discovered how to use the Nobel implant system to an advanced level and took a class on interactive CT interpretation. In addition to taking continuing education courses, Dr. James Lauren Hargrove received the honor of serving the International Congress of Oral Implantologists as a Fellow. Furthermore, while in college, Dr. James Lauren Hargrove established a free dental clinic in downtown Augusta, supported by his non-profit establishment, World Dental Outreach, Inc. Dr. James Lauren Hargrove brought his efforts to provide dental services to the less fortunate into third world counties, establishing clinics in Africa, South America, and Central America. In his free time, Dr. James Lauren Hargrove enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, and attending the theater.
