With expertise in executive management, operational planning, and real estate and business development, Dr. Cem Kinay attributes his success to his ability to make plans, set strategies, and achieve results. As Chief Executive Officer of The O Property Collection Global Organization (OPC), Dr. Cem Kinay leads the firm in investing, developing, and managing premium, international real estate ventures. Co-founders Dr. Cem Kinay and Oguz Serim launched OPC in 2005, focused on establishing an unmatched echelon of excellence in design and service across a myriad of geographic locales. Currently, OPC is focusing its efforts on the development of Dellis Cay, an exclusive, 560-acre private island in the Turks and Caicos Islands that will include nearly 301 units, consisting of 25 dedicated hotel rooms, 153 condominiums, and 123 villas, with a total planned investment of more than $1 billion. Prior to establishing The O Property Collection, Dr. Cem Kinay garnered invaluable business, tourism, and hospitality experience as a successful entrepreneur. Subsequent to launching his first sailing and yachting business in Turkey, Dr. Kinay pioneered a new venture, Gulet Touristik, an all-inclusive charter tour company in Austria. Dr. Cem Kinay later launched a line of Magic Life clubs, which offered all-inclusive tourist communities in lavish locations across the world, including Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Egypt, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Under Dr. Cem Kinay’s leadership, Gulet Touristik and Magic Life enjoyed the business of more than 500,000 guests annually. Recognized for his skill and expertise in the real estate investment and development industry, Dr. Kinay was honored with a State Medal from the President of Austria in 2006. In 1997, he was named “Man of the Year” by TREND Magazine, one of the premier economic publications in Austria, and “Tourism Manager of the Year” in 1996 by Traveller Magazine and Hotel and Touristik Magazine.
