Career: Netherlands Foreign Service, last postings as Deputy Chief of Mission, Acting Consul General and Ambassador. Experience in all braches of Dutch diplomacy: political, economic, public relations, development assistance (from bilateral project design to World Bank issues)and consular assignments. Posts in: NATO, West Africa, India, Canada, European Commission and former Soviet Union (including Central Asia), Sweden, USA (Chicago), Serbia with Montenegro and Kosovo. Languages: Dutch (mothertongue), English and French (excellent), German (good), Swedish and Russian (rusty)
