Demir IlterOwner , Ilter Clinic Cardiology is an unlikely beginning for a leading hair transplant doctor, but Dr. Demir Ilter’s career evolved in exactly this manner. Educated in medicine Ankara, Turkey, Demir Ilter trained in both cardiology and plastic surgery at the renowned Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden, and worked in both departments. While at Karolinska, Demir Ilter performed a great deal of microsurgery on blood vessels and other small areas, giving him immense skill in conducting minute, detailed operations. When one of his colleagues became displeased with the results of a hair operation he had undergone, Demir Ilter decided to use his microsurgery skills to help patients in need of quality hair replacements. By developing the FUE Ilter Method, a proprietary method of hair transplantation, Demir Ilter was able to attract clients looking for the latest technology in natural-looking hair replacement. In his practice, Demir Ilter pays close attention to all aspects of the patient’s natural hair, including texture, density, patterns and swirls, hairline placement, and other factors. Demir Ilter then utilizes this information to recreate the natural look with grafts of hair, usually taken from the back of the patient’s scalp or another area where hair still grows. The FUE Ilter Method extracts hair grafts of about 0.6 mm in diameter. These are much smaller than typical grafts, which measure about 1.0 mm in diameter. The tiny graft size provides not only a more detailed and natural-looking transplant for clients while minimizing pain and scarring sometimes caused by other transplantation procedures but it also makes later procedures possible. |
