Holding membership in a wide range of professional and industry organizations, Folashade Adebere upholds the highest standards in her work as a marketing specialist, project manager, and communications expert. A 2008 graduate of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Folashade Adebere earned her PMP Certification and maintains affiliation with the group to this day. Over the course of her career, Folashade Adebere has lived and worked in the United States, England, and Nigeria, joining such organizations as the U.K.-based Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Advertising Practitioner's Council of Nigeria. Currently residing in the United States, Folashade Adebere fulfills various duties at PJ Adex Consulting Services as Marketing Project Manager and part owner. A native of Nigeria, Folashade Adebere attended Lagos State Polytechnic, where she gained a Higher National Diploma in Marketing, with distinction. Following completion of her studies and the commencement of the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, Folashade Adebere secured an internship in PR at Computer Systems Associates (CSA) - an IT firm specialising in banking application software development. She eventually rose to the rank of Public Relations Officer. Upon completing her Youth corps program, she earned promotion to Corporate Affairs Officer for Computer Systems Associates (CSA), setting the stage for a productive and successful career in marketing. Folashade Adebere moved to the United Kingdom in 2003 to continue her studies, completing a certificate at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) located in Berkshire, England and an M.A. in Marketing and Electronic Commerce through the University of Portsmouth. Owing to her education and experience, Folashade Adebere became a Marketing Strategy and Development Consultant with Neptune Software Plc in London, after which she returned to Nigeria to serve as Assistant Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble. More recently, Folashade Adebere worked as Business Development Manager at Maryland-based Trinity Group, where she trained her attention on a variety of branding and marketing activities.
