Noel DavisNoel Davis is a manufacturing executive-at-large. He has held positions as COO and VP Operations at two of the largest independent gear manufacturing companies in the U.S. Mr. Davis has deep experience in operations – running factories for Alcoa, Johnson Controls, Crane Co, and Federal Mogul. With this experience Noel started JGC Industries, an independent trouble-shooter for manufacturing. He has been in factories in Europe, Latin America, and China. Noel began his career as a Navy officer serving as a weapons officer aboard nuclear powered submarines. He maintained his military career as a reserve intelligence officer in parallel with his civilian career in manufacturing. Noel was recalled to active duty and served as an intelligence officer in the Middle East for the invasion of Iraq in early 2003. He retired from reserve service in 2006. Noel received his B.S. in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland in 1982; earned his MBA from Marymount University in Arlington Virginia in 1988; and received Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing certification from University of Tennessee in 2001.
