Nigel Alston is a popular motivational speaker, Dale Carnegie trainer, meeting facilitator, and columnist. He is known to encourage people to succeed and inspire them to act! Nigel is currently Executive Director for Marketing, Alumni and Community Relations at Winston-Salem State University. In 2002 he received the Emory O. Jackson Best Column writing award from the National Newspaper Publishers Association for his column written on September 11, 2001: Today, I Cried. He is a local columnist for the Winston Salem Journal and appears on the Op Ed page on Saturdays. Nigel is also a certified trainer for Dale Carnegie Training and Development Dimensions International (DDI).
