20 years in the mortgage industry, specifically in mortgage technology

The mortgage industry is currently experiencing possibly its most trying time ever. With the nationalization of licensing, new forms and regulations, and a substantially reduced population, the shape and methods of mortgage lending are changing dramatically. The existing systems are struggling just to maintain their share and find themselves cutting back on customer service to survive. Together these issues have created a huge opportunity for a more lightweight, transparent, and customer oriented solution. In my 20+ years in this industry, I’ve had the incredible fortune to have seen and worked on LOS programs since their inception. I’ve been the customer, the sales person, the implementer, and a company, as well as customer advocate. I know what’s been done right and what’s still missing. Right now there are tremendous opportunities being missed. I’m currently exploring new ways of applying my experience in this industry towards helping to change things for the better. While I have been very successful individually, where I’ve been the most successful is helping the customer achieve their goals.
