As a senior software engineer, André has more than six years developing experience in the .NET framework. André boasts a broad technical and analytical baggage regarding solution building, spanning both packaged as well as custom development. His has always developed in the .NET framework, but the past three years André has mainly focused on ASP.NET based C#.NET development with SQL Server 2005. André finds it exceptionally important to be adaptive and flexible and to keep technical competencies at the highest level which is why he has become Microsoft certified in the .NET framework 3.5. Andrés’ roots go back to Cape Town where he graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelors degree in Commerce majoring in Information Systems and Economics. André prides himself in dealing with issues and finding solutions prior to them becoming problems, which has led André to being the lead developer in various projects managing to deliver ahead of schedule and within budget. André revels under pressure and is 100% committed to getting the job done. Driven by his passion for IT motivates André to realise progression each day. This is highly infectious, creating a strong, positive team spirit. With these excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong planning, organising and monitoring abilities, André has had the additional responsibility of mentoring students in their “end-of-year” project and training newly recruited colleagues in .NET and DNN.
