Griffin is the managing partner of Spectrum Strategies Group, LLC, a firm specializing in financial and estate planning for professionals, closely held business owners and wealthy individuals. John is the author and originator of a number of proprietary tax strategies being used in the marketplace today and continues to develop and/or joint venture with other professionals numerous tax strategies which provide substantial tax relief to those businesses and individuals with whom they work. Today, he is one of the leading professionals in the area of advanced estate planning and has introduced several tax strategies to national audiences. John’s practice involves wealth planning strategies for high net worth clients, and tax professionals from several disciplines have successfully used his tax planning techniques in their own practices. Professionally, John has served in numerous leadership capacities having served on the boards of the local Society for Financial Professionals and the Estate Planning Council. He has served on numerous local and national boards and continues to be involved with industry meetings and the development of national networks and forums for the distribution of significant ideas in his area of expertise. John has been married for 35 years to the former Cindy Gibson who is also a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. They have three children: Jason, David and Elizabeth.
