Vader is a strategic advisor with 25 years of experience with a focus on passenger transportation and FM. He developed station and office facilities and shaped the FM organisation for Dutch Rail.

Vader is chairman of the Working Group Station Management, a working group that by order of the International Association or Public Transport (UITP) examines regional and suburban stations and suggest for their regeneration.

Developing and steering a collaboration tot exchange data, information, knowledge and insights about cost- and performance in the Dutch and European Facility Mangement Industry; a leading index and benchmark for FM industry, www.nfcindex.nl.

NFC Index is a collaboration of industrial and governmental organizations, as well as advisory agencies and main contractors in facility services and real estate services, who share their data about their realised annual facility costs – in order to compute an annual Facility Cost Index, which is mentioned as an authorative reference.

As such, the contents of conversations between a facility manager and the CFO or general manager to whom one has to report to, will get a more comprehensible, professional nature.

In doing so a huge shared database will be refreshed at an annual frequency. This provides the members a basis for benchmarking their facility cost and – related to qualitative items – a first glance of performance indication. The scope and categorising of the included items, is referring to the European Taxonomy Standard EN 15221-4.
