Philip Daunt

I call myself a Transformational Lawyer, which means that I help my clients to transform their legal problems into opportunities for personal growth and positive change. I call what I do a Coach Approach to the Practice of Law. I also teach other lawyers how to do what I do. My law practice focuses on business and real estate matters in both transactional and litigation contexts. I am also a Mediator. I serve on the Court-Appointed Mediator Panel for the Monterey County Superior Court and on the Court-Appointed Resolution Advocate Panel for the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. I am also an Adjunct Professor at the Monterey College of Law where I teach a course on Business Organizations. I am also a licensed real estate broker and the owner/manager of Strategic Loan Solutions, a company that helps distressed homeowners find alternative solutions to foreclosure. I live in a corner of paradise, the Monterey Peninsula. I am married to the woman of my dreams, Heidi. I have three amazing children, Trevor, Andrea (our family's personal angel), and Alora. I love what I do. When I am not helping my clients to transform their legal problems into opportunities for personal growth and positive change or teaching other lawyers to do the same thing, I love to work on my own personal growth, to travel, to meet new people, to experience different cultures, and to spend time in nature with my family and friends. I run on a regular basis and I love to hike and to ski whenever I get the chance. I have a history of swimming and scuba diving and playing tennis and golf. Maybe someday I will make more time to go back to those sports.
