As a communications professional for over 20 years, Elissa uses her public relations, marketing communications, sales, and relationship building skills in her career as a real estate professional at Historic Homes. As part of a team representing the high-end real estate market in the greater Boston area, Elissa has been an integral part in the sale of over $20 million in properties in 2011. With a background managing public relations accounts including Volkswagen, Swiss Army Brands, Inc., New Balance, and Godiva Chocolatier within nationally recognized agencies including Arnold Worldwide and Mullen, Elissa developed expertise in brand building and high-level customer service. Elissa has worked in New York City and Boston throughout her career and has worked most recently for an affiliate of Sotheby's International Realty in Boston. Passionate about working with non-profit organizations, Elissa has worked with Boston Ballet, National Tay-Sachs & Allied Diseases, and The Leary Firefighters Foundation founded by actor Denis Leary. Elissa is proud that her first press conference for The Leary Firefighters Foundation caused visits to the organization’s website to quadruple and helped to increase donations by $20,000. At Historic Homes, building her own business and working as the assistant to Principal Miceal Chamberlain, Elissa has found her niche selling fine estate properties in Boston and surrounding communities. Elissa holds a BS in Business & Organizational Communications from Emerson College in Boston.
