Merika Rock

Merika Rock spends time with private clients ranging in all career fields and backgrounds. They include persons such as teens to working mothers, college students, doctors, executives, brides, entertainers, athletes, models and actors. These clients seek her assistance on everything from wardrobe consulting and wardrobe styling, personal shopping and arranging time with hairstylists. She also books make-up artists and personal trainers. She arranges spa and retreat bookings and offers portfolio building and portrait work with photography services she offers through her company. Prior to establishing her image consulting business, Merika spent 10 years as a freelance model. One of her most renowned achievements in her modeling career had been the opportunity to be drawn by fantasy artist Larry Elmore as the popular character Firiona Vie from the highly acclaimed Sony PC video game Everquest: Dragons of Norrath. Merika first worked as a stylist when she landed a job working on photography sets for some of the top professional dancers in the world, including Prima Ballerina Tamera Rojo from the London Royal Ballet, Professional Belly Dancer Rania from the Belly Dance Superstars, and the former Broadway lead of Riverdance, Eileen Martin. Some of her other accomplishments have been a style column, titled Merika's Style Report which ran weekly for the CBS Network. She also filmed a series of commercials themed as seasonal fashion forecasts, which aired for the Warner Bros. Network. Merika has had the opportunity to work along side Sci-Fi Channel’s Ghost Hunters,Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters, Kynt and Vyxsin of The Amazing Race, as well as Olympic Gold Medalist Oksana Baiul, assisting on set during a taping of a series of television commercials. And most recently styled Playboy Playmate Jennifer Lavoie of the Eco Challenge Extreme Team, as well as International Wrestling Superstar Rob Conway and WWE Diva Katie Lea. For May 2008, Merika’s Company, M. Rock Style, had exclusively provided Celebrity VIP Coordinating and Hospitality arrangements and styling services for some of the celebrity guests in town for nationally covered Kentucky Derby functions. A list of guest clients included some of the following: Deal or No Deal’s Patricia Kara (brief case girl #9), Reality TV Star Colby Donaldson from Survivor’s Australia Outback, Survivor All-Stars and most recently Co-host on the new Rachel Ray Show. Also on the list, Camille Anderson from the movie Wedding Crashers, Anna Chudoba from Average Joe 4, character actor Courtney Gains from the movie Sweet Home Alabama, American Idol’s Kimberly Locke, Harvey Walden, Drill Instructor of Celebrity Fit Club and WWE Diva Melina. For 2009, Merika has brought Hollywood shoe styles to Kentuckiana by venturing with Reality Star, Kim Kardashian's newest project ShoeDazzle.com, and is one of the official fashion experts on staff. Presently, Merika currently spends half her days arranging style and photography services for clients wishing to advance their appearance and portfolios on a local level, and the other half traveling the country to clients in need of services elsewhere.
