Stay at home mom

I graduated from Pacific School of Religion with my MDiv in May 2007. I was appointed Interim Minister to New Hope MCC in Santa Rosa, CA beginning Feb. 3rd, 2008, and became permanent pastor on Feb 1, 2009. Unfortunately, after working at it for 2+ years we had to close MCC Santa Rosa on May 23, 2010. We closed with a joyous celebration of the years of work that MCC had done in Santa Rosa and throughout Sonoma County. That handsome one in the picture is my pride and joy Christopher. He is now 9 and is in the fourth grade; I suppose I should update his picture. Although I graduated from PSR in May 2007 with my M. Div., I went back in the fall of 2008 to work on a Certificate of Advance Professional Studies (CAPS), and take the classes I didn't get to take when I was in the MDiv program. This is only a one year program so hopefully by the time that ends I'll be ready to move forward with whatever God needs me to do. On March 8, 2009 my beloved, Robyn passed away suddenly. We don't know exactly what the cause was, but we're sure that she was ready even if the rest of us were not. We had been together almost 15 years and were legally married on October 19, 2008. Robyn was in the MTS program at PSR and extremely involved in the CAPSR as Moderator and many committees where she represented students, especially those of the differently abled. Life is a constant change always something new happening. Due to her passing I didn't finish my last paper for my CAPS. I have decided to move forward and work toward getting things in place to get my Phd. I have enrolled in an MA program which will give me the classes that weren't required for the MDiv. my goal is to have this completed by Spring 2011.
