Sid Jacobson is a respected risk management professional across energy, environmental and financial markets that leads and implements enterprise-wide-, portfolio- and asset-risk management, hedging, trading and marketing programs Sid is looking for opportunities to help create value, through: • Business Transformation - Commodity Risk Management Sid transforms and implements commodity and related credit and operational risk management frameworks, including governance structures, risk policies, hedging strategies, risk controls, risk analytics, and reporting. • Market Entry and Rapid Launch - Commodity Trading and Supply Sid builds-out wholesale, retail and asset-integrated supply and trading organizations; inclusive of market entry and business plan validation, organizational design, process and procedures, analytics, reporting and ETRM system definition • Supply, Hedging and Energy Management – Structured Transactions Sid structures and negotiates complex hedging and energy management strategies for a full range of electricity generation, alternative energy, oil refining, production, storage, retail and transportation assets and portfolios. • Marketing – Education and Business Development Sid has launched and delivered marketing programs for new energy markets and risk management services to government agencies, energy companies and financial institutions throughout North and South America. • Trading - Proprietary Trading and Portfolio Management Sid has managed profitable and quantitatively-complex energy, equity and index futures and options portfolios as a market-maker and risk manager for a leading proprietary option trading firm and a series of asset managers.
