Alan Lear has worked as Project and Business Development Manager at Libra Terminais, a logistics and supply chain company in Brazil, where he is involved in multimodal project developments, project evaluation for port terminals and inland terminals, and off-shore and up-stream project evaluation. He is now working as Director with Strategy Associated Consultants, a supply chain consulting firm focused on the Brazilian market. Mr. Lear started with Libra Terminais in 2003 as their Logistics Director and served as their Import and Export Cargo Manager until January 2010 where he was responsible for inbound/outbound cargoes in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Rio de Janeiro states, cargo prospecting and logistic options for clients in this region, and break bulk and off-shore projects for Brazilian ports. He is a Civil Engineer specialized in Hydraulics by the Universidade de Buenos Aires – Argentina (UBA) and is a specialist in logistic operations.
