After 'A' Levels, joined the Royal Corps of Sugnals as a Technician and served 12 years before leaving as a Sgt. 1987 - Joined the then GEC Telecommunications and which evetually became Marconi. I worked here for 15.5 years and took voluntary redundancy on October 2002 having spent a good many years of that time as an International Customer Account Project Manager delivering telecommunication equipment to my custoerm group. Following redundancy, four months were spent working voluntarily on a sheep farm in the Falkland Islands to consider my options and also look for employment down there. No joy there so returned to UK. I am now a Police Officer with West Midlands Police having just beaten the age barrier when I joined.
