I have extensive contacts in the sports industry with colleges, professional athletes, coaches and sport experts. I earned my college education on a football scholarship while attending the University of Oregon. During my stay at Oregon, I was a three-year starting cornerback and kick returner. I showed enough promise to be drafted and make the New York Jets in the NFL. I also played in the CFL with the Ottawa Roughriders. I am in my tenth year of teaching and coaching at the high school and middle school levels. All have been in the nation’s second largest school district – the Los Angeles Unified School District in Los Angeles, California. During the past four summers I directed the football component of the NFL’s Youth Impact Program full contact camps and academic enrichment program for middle school students at USC, Tulane, South Florida and Rice Universities. During my fourteen years with the National Alliance of African American Athletes I have worked with elite scholar - athletes and developed individual training programs for off-season training.
