Kristin Larson

After completing 2 degrees in science and managing the research laboratory at McMurdo Station, Antarctica for 7 years, then several more years assisting with Antarctic environmental policy, I became a lawyer. I now practice law with a large New York firm, with my home base in DC. I specialize in environmental and transactional law with a growing and very interesting practice in climate change counseling, and large scale renewable energy projects. I am on my second 3-year term as a Board Member at both the International and local DC levels of The Explorers Club and serve as Co-Chair of the Explorers Club Legal Committee.
