Retired Navy Oceanographer and SWO with tours in San Diego (USS O'Callahan - FF1051) & Monterey (FNOC & NPS), California. Additional tours in Norfolk, VA (NEOC), Naples, Italy (NOCD Naples & CTF 66), and Bay St Louis, MS (CNMOC). Started my civilian career with Lockheed Space Operations/LMSO, Lockheed Information Systems and Services - New Orleans, and I'm now with Keane, Inc. I have academic and practical experience in Applied Geophysics, Meteorology, and Physical Oceanography. Throughout my career I've been involved with information systems utilization and design - from sophisticated weapons detection and targeting to exploration geophysics and now various business applications. I am well versed in applications development, maintenance, and outsourcing (ADMO). I am a leader and Senior Project Manager managing a portfolio of software ADMO projects and supplemental staffing positions supporting IT infrastructure services, involving budgeting, bid & proposal, cost management, and personnel management and leadership. I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) at the Foundation and Practitioner (IPRC) levels and a candidate for IT Service Manager (ITSM). I am an experienced ITIL Assessor.
