As an alumnus of The Philadelphia University of the Arts, College of Performing Arts, Ms. Andrea is a twenty-year professional On/Off Broadway veteran. She’s appeared all over the world in many venues on stage, television and radio acting, dancing and singing. Originally trained via Pennsylvania Ballet and Philadanco, her choreography is of Modern-Jazz Origin mixed with today’s latest moves. Andrea came to Atlantic City through N.Y.C. to perform in the Casino Shows in 1988. She has taught many young dancers in the South Jersey Region who are now working as professional dancers, themselves. Ms. Andrea encourages confidence and a positive attitude in developing dancers of all age groups. In spring of 2007 she founded “Dancewave”. “Dancewave” is a company of semi-pro level dancers based out of Dante Hall Theater of the Arts who are working toward professional careers in the Performing Arts. The “Dancewave” program at Dante Hall serves as an “internship” for dancers of higher levels. Ms. Andrea is also a Dance Director and Educator at the Ocean City Arts Center. This summer she ran three successful intensive summer camps: “Places, Please” a Creative Drama Program Ocean City’s “Dancewave”; training Camp and is currently running “Triple Threat” Musical Theater Camp. Her fall class schedule proves to be promising for young inspired dancers in the Atlantic City, Ocean City and surrounding areas. Andrea is an instructor for Dante Hall Performing Arts Programs & Advanced Ballet and Jazz Technique Classes. Ms. Andrea is a N.J. State Certified Dance Teacher and a teacher for The N.J. 21st Century After School Program. She is proud to be an official choreographer for the “Miss America Organization” through the Atlantic County and Columbus Day Pageants held on Columbus Day Weekend. She is also a professional voice over artist and signed her first national contract with Comcast Cable at the beginning of the year. Andrea still performs in the casinos as The Hilton’s “Lucille Ball”, on stilts in her own elaborate costumes at The Showboat or hosting Resort’s new “Boogie Nights” experience as “Lucy Star Diamond”! She is very proud of her associates & students who are working professionally!
