Michael DavisProfessor of Philosophy, Illinois Institute of Technology Michael Davis is Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions and Professor of Philosophy, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL 60616. Among his recent publications are: Thinking Like an Engineer (Oxford, 1998); Ethics and the University (Routledge, 1999); Conflict of Interest in the Professions (Oxford, 2001); Profession, Code, and Ethics (Ashgate, 2002); Actual Social Contract and Political Obligation (Mellen, 2002); Engineering Ethics (Ashgate, 2005); and Ethics and the Legal Profession, 2nd (Prometheus, 2009). Since 1990, he has received four grants from the National Science Foundation to help integrate ethics into technical courses. |
