Margaret WalkerServant, The Church of God We, the Servants of the Church of God, the New Testament name for The Church, having read and believed the Holy Scriptures, realize that at this time the Work of God is to believe on Him whom God has sent, and that would be Jesus, The Christ, as shown in the New Testament Scriptures. Therefore, as His disciples, we endeavor with the help of God to teach all nations all things that He has taught us, through both the prophets of old and the Apostles. Since we believe Moses, and keep the whole Law by the power of the Holy Spirit received at our baptism, we are able to believe in Him whom God has sent since Moses wrote of Him. If we cannot believe Moses, how can we believe Christ? This is what Christ told the people during the days of His Earthly ministry. If one does not speak according to the Law and the Testimony of Jesus Christ, there is no light in him, the prophet Isaiah said. If the light that IS in them be darkness, how GREAT is that darkness, Christ said. Therefore, we see that the Law is Holy, Just and Good, and we therefore believe in Him by keeping it as our proof that we DO believe Him, as the Apostle Paul says. We do not do the rituals, washings, and laws added that Christ replaced by His death on the stake, as Hebrews states. We do refrain from eating of blood, fornication, and things strangled, as in Acts 15. However, the commandments with the statutes and judgments have been in existence since Creation, and since before the Garden of Eden, therefore Malachi states that we are to remember all three of the aspects of the Law of God as they have never been abrogated, or we shall bring a curse on the Earth. When the inhabitants of the Earth keep His judgments then they will learn Righteousness, says the Psalms. The cry to God's people is that they repent of breaking His Law and return to Him, as Jeremiah 3:1 says to us today. Let the Bride make herself ready for the Bridegroom. He is coming soon. We endeavor to do that.
