Aspect Film Ltd is an independent film sales agency, TV distributor and production company, with offices in London and Spain. The company was founded in January 2007 by former BBC Worldwide, Beyond International and Eagle Vision executive Hugh Edwards and former Jetix Europe executive Aneta Kianek.

We generally acquire all rights across all media platforms, for exploitation to our clients.
Aspect started life with one film (John P. Aguirre’s THE UTOPIAN SOCIETY) and a vision of becoming a reputable player within the entertainment industry. In just under two years, Aspect has gone from strength to strength. We have steadily built our portfolio of film & TV content, working with a stream of emerging and experienced production companies and strong acting talent, including Austin Nichols, Brad Dourif, Brian Blessed, Cameron Richardson, Christine Lakin, Diane Venora, DJ Qualls, Elaine Hendrix, Greg Germann, James Cosmo, Jeremy Sisto, Judy Greer, Kerry Washington, Louis Lombardi, Mackenzie Rosman, Malin Akerman, Mike Starr, Monty Lapica, Nicholle Tom, Nikki Reed, Shawn Hatosy, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Tom Bower.
Some of our highlights to date, include Orphan Films/Aspect Film’s $15 million traditional, family feature animation WOLF SHEEP. The film will be voiced by a host of quality acting talent, including Christopher Lloyd, Tim Curry, Eric Idle and A-list talent, whose names will be announced shortly. These actors will have voice direction by four-time Emmy nominated dialogue director Susan Blu.
We are also looking forward to completion of our new fantasy action adventure feature, FADING OF THE CRIES, which will be directed by Brian Metcalf and starring Brad Dourif, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Elaine Hendrixand Mackenzie Rosman. Brian Metcalf will also direct and produce EVE, our paranormal serial-killer slasher movie, which has already created media attention through Variety and Hollywood Reporter. will star in the leading role as EVE and will co-produce the film, along with Aspect Film’s Hugh Edwards.
Additionally, we’re soon to commence filming of our “American Pie meets Dodgeball meets Caddyshack” sophomore comedy LUCKY STROKE, which will be produced by Aspect Film’s Hugh Edwards and directed by award-winning producer/director John P. Aguirre. The film has already been acquired at script stage, by Dutch distributor H.O.M Vision, for release in the Benelux territory.
Christopher Jaymes‘ multiple award-winning IN MEMORY OF MY FATHER, starring Jeremy Sisto, Judy Greer, Nicholle Tom, Christine Lakin, recently enjoyed it’s UK theatrical release, garnering rave reviews from Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Total Film, Empire and Maxim magazines.
The film that started it all, John P. Aguirre’s multiple award-winning THE UTOPIAN SOCIETY starring Malin Akerman and Austin Nichols, has recently enjoyed nationwide release in its North American home market through Warner Bros. It will be released in early 2009 in UK & Ireland, Benelux and Scandinavia, to coincide with the international release of WATCHMEN, in which Malin Akerman will star as Silk Spectre.
Recently joining the Aspect Film slate of features, is Monty Lapica’s directorial debut based on true events, SELF MEDICATED, recipient of the most award wins of any independent film worldwide in 2006, with a total of 39 international awards and starring Golden Globe nominee Diane Venora.
