· Completed extensive market analyses on deposit refund systems (published 2003), e-commerce (2001), the ports and stevedoring industry (2000). Visited several companies, interviewed CEOs and other industry representatives. Wrote semi-annual reports on Sweden’s alcohol retail monopoly to the European Commission.

· Responsible for environmental issues - handled matters, took part in hearings and conferences. Analyzed official reports, subsequently drafting the Authority’s official opinion. Worked with issues concerning agriculture and the food and retail industries.

· Participated in dawn raids against a number of suspected cartels. Member of a case team whose task was to evaluate issues to which companies and individuals drew our attention.

· Coordinated EU matters in the transportation area, among others, as well as worked with issues concerning EU candidate countries.

· Participated in meetings of the EU Council of Ministers and the Nordic Council of Ministers.

· Planned programs for international visits. Organized a trip to Slovakia for political / administrative contacts and networking (for a 14-member unit).
