I have been 25+ years in IT business working the first quater of my career in technical support in Finland and later on in Europe. From 1998 onwards I have been in IT managerial roles in Europe and later on after 1992 in Asia Pacific. An opportunity to manage the Global services delivery of the Unisys largest European ITO contract in Switzerland took me back in Europe in January 2008. As an outcome of the years work in APAC I ended up to have a dual citizenship; Finnish/Australian. The managerial roles have covered mainly services business management and later on IT outsourcing management. I have got some good results in recovering financially poorly performing projects and accounts in Asia Pacific. The long time managerial work inspired me to enhance my academic qualifications and as an outcome in 2005 July Leicester University granted me the MBA degree after three years part time studies In January 2008 I am in Switzerland, Basel facing new managerial challenges waiting for my family to join me. I am confident that my long experience, persistency and consistency will guarantee the success in coming years.
