Peter Olle 21 connections

Peter Olle is CIO in the District of Columbia’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). He currently oversees technology in the DC Public Schools and the DC Public Safety environment. He ran the Application Development group for the City before working with the agencies.

Prior to joining the DC government, he was the CIO for BCE Emergis’s U.S. eLending Operations, UUNET Technologies, Manor Care Health Services and the Hechinger Company. Prior to that, he was VP, Application Development for Marriott International, and was a Consulting Manager with Accenture. His experience spans the entire Systems Life Cycle including planning, design, programming, testing, implementation, and operations. He also has led management consulting teams responsible for implementing business and technology solutions.

Additionally, he has worked with Samaritan Inns, Npower Leadership Council and the National Children’s Museum, doing volunteer technology consulting work for these not-for-profit organizations.

Mr. Olle has an MBA from the University of Kentucky and a BS degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Southern Illinois University.
