Cathy Weatherford

I'm am the mother of six sons and two daughters. I have been raising children since the oldest was born in 1978. The youngest is sixteen. He will graduate from high school in 2011. I was born in 1951 so you know what my age will be when he graduates. I decided to focus on razing these children and taught them to read at home using the Bible as their first reader. I started home schooling in 1981 and was influenced greatly by the disillusionment of the seventies and the Vietnam war to make sense out of things. It was imperative that my children learn in an enviroment that aknowledged God. I wanted them to learn to reason from The Word of God. A little study proves that this book is the foundation of of every subject under the sun and the authority for wisdom in every sphere of life. I don't feel the need to defend this fact. The natural laws of this world we live in are governed by the laws and principles found in this book and the author is Himself the King of the Universe. I hope my children will seek to master this book and know intimately it's author. It is the best of the best I could give them and it is free. I'm grateful to live in a country which allowed me to honor my conscience in the mannor I chose to teach my children. I hope my children will help to preserve the freedoms we have in America and share them with the world.
