Data Security Engineer, Solutionary

As of Jan 12, 2009, I am working for Solutionary, Inc. based out of Omaha. My position there is Security Engineer for Managed Devices group. Solutionary is an MSSP based out of Omaha, NE. Prior to going to Solutionary, I was employed at Harrah's Entertainment since 1990. I worked my way up from an entry level Video Analyst position to a Lead Network Engineer with a focus on firewall managment and security. Positions I held at Harrah's since 1990: Video Analyst Telecom Engineer Sr. Telecom Engineer Network Engneer Sr. Network Engineer Lead Network Engineer (with a focus on voice and data Security) My current position, Lead Network Engineer, is primarily focused on voice and data security for 50+ properites, the Corporate Data Center and DR Data Center. I am mainly responsible for design, implementation and support for vendor remote access, employee remote access, Internet Access, and extranet connecivity. I have supported a variety of firewall platforms including: Juniper, Checkpoint/Nokia/Crossbeam, Microsoft Proxy, and Cisco PIX and ASA.
