Alan PalmerAlan Palmer was born in England and holds a Swiss passport. His forty five years of work experience in the Hospitality Industry has taken him to five continents, 4 years in UK, 12 years in Switzerland, 5 years in Kenya, over 18 years in Singapore and for the last ten years he resides in Sri Lanka. He is an Honorary Lifetime Member of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) and the Honorary Ambassador Singapore Chefs Association. He is the Global Competition Co-ordinator of the Meat and Livestock Australia, MLA Black Box Culinary Challenge and the MLA Young Chef Pencil Box Culnary Challenge. To date there have been 94 Black Box events with the participation of 3,455 Chefs and 9 Pencil Box events. He is the Culinary Consultant for South Asia Exhibition Services (Pvt) Ltd and other International event organisers. He also supports culinary activities initiated by the Sri Lanka Tourism Board. |
