Long time labor and employment law attorney. Before that, a long time divorce law attorney. Both disciplines are highly emotionally charged. Loss of a job??? A marriage that is falling apart??? Never a pretty picture. And, nobody likes lawyers..that is, until they need one. Why didn't I follow my heart and pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Maybe in front of the camera??? Maybe behind the camera on the creative front??? Mom and Dad really wanted that first "professional" in the family (the first-born here), and these hands were never steady enough to be a surgeon. Oh well. But, do you know what would be great??? Being one of those CNN, MSNBC, etc., "go-to" legal experts who gets a producer's call when something in the arena is breaking. Just look at the photo. Is that a face for television or what??? Oh, hold on a second, it isn't my face that's the one for television...maybe one of those two beautiful kids will take advantage of the looks G-d blessed them with. That is, if they want. I will not be a "stage father," I will not be a "stage father," I will not be... Please check back here on this one...I want to be creative without being too smug. But, in general for the moment, a pretty decent guy. Honest, intelligent, entertaining, good conversationalist, pretty well-grounded, self-actualized, self-aware, loving, caring, empathic, menschy, confident (but not cocky), faultlessly devoted to loved ones, heart of gold, affectionate, giving, nurturing, sensitive, sentimental, lives by the concept of relationship "mutuality"...mutual love and mutual affection and mutual respect, open-minded, conversant on many different topics, great Dad, adventurous, high-spirited, realistic, no tolerance for b.s. (can smell it from a mile away), very generous with my time and heart for loved ones. Or, so I'm told. Oh yeah, and at age 45, I still have a full head of hair...thank you G-d for that one!!!
